This is a burgeoning industry which is full of opportunity and it's not even out of its infancy.. Despite volatility and a humdrum if not down 2018, 2019 and the future look extremely bright as new technology, fintech and mass adoption keep moving forward in a positive direction. Below is just the beginning of our portfolio.
At this writing in May, Bitcoin has risen to achieve a gain of over 100% in 2019. Experts in the field are highly optimistic about the future of BTC and so are we.
The result of a hard fork ( (a community-activated update to the protocol or code) in BTC, BCH is up 217% from it's low in 2019.
Ripple (XRP) is an independent digital asset that is native to the Ripple Consensus Ledger. With proven governance and the fastest transaction confirmation of its kind, XRP is said to be the most efficient settlement option for financial institutions and liquidity providers seeking global reach, accessibility and fast settlement finality for interbank flows.
XRP has largely been going sideways in 2019 but in view of serving the transfer needs of global financial institutions around the world we see a strong global demand for XRP in the future which gives us a high level of optimism for future growth.
Issued by the gold marketing company Karatbars, KCB offers some very interesting prospects. Karatbars will roll out their own blockchain in October and the KCB coin will merge with the sister KBC coin issued by the Gold Standard Bank (part of the Karatbars ecosystem). Upon the merger, 100 KCB will be echangeable to 1 gram of gold., currently around $60 per gram. Do the math and this equates to $0.60 (sixty cents) which would represent a nice gain from the current $0.16 (sixteen cents) USD. In about a years time, that ratio will go to 10:1 and in about 4 years time it will go to 1:1. From 16 cents to $60 in four years (assuming no rise in the price of gold) looks pretty good on anybody's books!
Stellar is up 37% in May, from the low hit in 2019.
The Stellar network is an open source, distributed, and community owned network used to facilitate cross-asset transfers of value. Stellar aims to help facilitate cross-asset transfer of value at a fraction of a penny while aiming to be an open financial system that gives people of all income levels access to low-cost financial services. Stellar can handle exchanges between fiat-based currencies and between cryptocurrencies. Stellar.org, the organization that supports Stellar, is centralized like XRP and meant to handle cross platform transactions and micro transactions like XRP. However, unlike Ripple, Stellar.org is non-profit and their platform itself is open source and decentralized. Through the use of its intermediary currency Lumens (XLM), a user can send any currency that they own to anyone else in a different currency.
